| Application/ Performance | KLS 7F is a 'One-Pack' Stabilizer/ Lubricant for PVC Pipes. It is a low lead content pipe stabilizer which is used in all non-critical colour pigmented applications. It is especially suitable for pressure pipes, conduit and sewage pipe extrusions. If filer content is increased, dosage of stabilizer and/or the addition of lubricants are recommended. KLS 7F is very effective heat stabilizer with high stability and well balanced internal and external lubrication. |
| Recommended Dosage | Depends on the formulation, processing conditions and the type of products; usually in the range of 1.8 - 2.5 PHR depending on filler content. |
| Recommended Production Parameters | For homogeneous dispersion of KLS 7F, it is recommended to prepare the dry blend in a high-speed mixer at elevated temperatures, above 120 degree celcius. |
| Raw Materials | Stearic Acid used in the formulation KLS 7F is strictly Palm based and is suitable for use in PVC applications used in Muslim countries. This fomulation is more environmental friendly due to the low lead content. |
| Handling | Protection measures for products containing lead should be applied. |
| Storage | Dry Storage at normal temperatures is recommended. Once opened, packaging should be firmly closed. |
